I don't know what the case is for keeping Flus. He's Popular with the players, I guess. That's it. Don't tell me there aren't upgrades out there. Harbaugh and Vrable are both huge upgrades that could be signed tomorrow.
I am terrified they are gonna run it back with Flus & Fields (which will fail) and miss the chance to reset and align everything perfectly.
I am also terrified they're gonna keep Flus and draft a new QB (how does that pairing make any sense?) and then have to fire him a year later (which repeats what they did with Fields in 2020).
The one benefit I can think of from being a bad franchise for so long is that these guys have made every possible mistake before so you would think they would now have a blueprint for avoiding new ones.
My only hope is that Kevin Warren can restrain George and Teddy from their worst impulses. Otherwise, get ready for another wasted 3 years.
Basically, he was a successful loser HC in that he prevented a revolt and kept everyone except Eddie Jackson from simply checking out.
Who in the division is he a better HC than? I think he's probably 4th of 4. These are the teams we gotta beat to be a perennial contender.
