I am madder than hell over that game yesterday. That loss is on Eberflus. He could not inspire our team to go out and destroy the Packers. The most hated team in the NFL for me and any other Bears Fan. The play calling on Offense was a joke and the O line could not block worth a s---. The Defense could not have tackled the GB water boy. The Bears coaching staff should be run out of town. They could not inspire a starving dog to eat a prime rib steak, F-----g Losers. I wonder if Ditka is still alive this morning. That game made me sick!

I honestly thought the Bears would show up for this game. No. It was just one more ass-whipping by the Packers. Our defense couldn’t stop anything. Our offense couldn’t do anything.
1. Who hired these coaches? Poles. 2. Who built this roster? Poles. 3. Who is going to get the blame? Eberflus, Getsy, Fields.

I wasn't surprised at all they came out flat and got their ass beat on both sides of the ball. I predicted it which isn't exactly difficult to do. You didn't have to be Nostrfreakindamas to see that coming.
It was exact same thing as week 1 just lower scoring (score was closer than the game).
The 2nd half "turnaround" was fools gold as I feared. We beat a bunch of terrible teams playing crap QBs and often did so in unimpressive fashion.
Flus and Getsy were schooled the same way as they were week 1. And Fields was way outplayed yet again by a QB in his 1st year as a starter.

I heard a stat today that Jordan Love threw for more yards this season than any Bears QB in our history. And somehow I’m still sad that I don’t get to watch my favourite team play again for eight months!

Here’s another stat. Panthers scored zero points their last two games and 30 points against Packers defense.

My point (again): Coaches and players are not getting the job done, but Poles is regarded as an innocent bystander. Now he drafts a QB, which buys another 2-3 years of job security. He will be on the job for 4 years by our Super Bowl ready year 2025.

We're the only team in the NFL who has never had a QB throw for 4k yards. That's insane.
So seeing people think Justin should stay is crazy. Its not like Fields is at 3k yards. He isn't even close.

It sounds like Poles was not allowed to choose his coach or his franchise QB when he came here. He was basically a 36 year old who was willing to take the Bears job under those mandates. Today we are seeing reports that the McCaskey family (not just George) will make the decisions on everything again this year - not Poles - and even President/CEO Warren will be limited to "input" but no decision-making authority. This is pretty much how the franchise has been run here for a long time. We see the results of this though and it has not been good.

Again, if this is true, you are right, JABF, and there's no hope here. I may be heading toward another period of ignoring the Bears altogether.
Owners always have the ultimate decision-making authority and ownership has to sign off on major moves. That is not a problem. It's who's driving the bus. If the owners are overruling Warren and Poles, then yeah it's hopeless and nothing will change.
They swore to us up and down that Warren would have full control of football ops. They'd be stupid to make a figurehead of the guy they hired to get a stadium deal done.

Don't worry about it MP. Seriously. It has been decided who is making decisions and it all stems from vague comments in an article. It is just a fact of life. Ownership ALWAYS has the last say in any action. But why have decided that they will over ride the guy they brought in to oversee everything. I don't see an issue here, I really don't. I still see Warren/Poles coming up with a path and getting it rubber stamped by George.
