That is a strong possibility. Bears can also FT him or restrict him. The Bears say they want to keep him, they don't have to figure out the contract right now, and they have options if it doesn't get worked out. 

Some team will have to go overboard w/the trade to get the Bears to do it. I don't think they'll give him away for a 2nd.

If Poles can't resign home grown talent then he needs to go. We can't just give up picks for 27 year old players but ignore a 24 year old player who is one of our few great players on defense.
