Would he be a rookie of the year candidate here in chicago, no. but would he still clearly be the best qb on this roster, yes and it wouldn't be close. Quality shines through regardless of talent around them and coaching.

Shea has done jack squat on a playoff team, he did jack squat on a .500 and below team. Marhsal, Jeffery, Long, Bennett, Forte all shined on bad Bears teams. Howard shined on a bad bears team, so did Whitehair, Sitton. Goldman and Hicks and Freeman and Floyd all shined on a 3 win team. Are any of them going to the playoffs? No, but you can see that they have talent. Same thing would happen w/Dak and Elliott.

LOL Pace gets the deflated ball because he didn't draft Dak in the fourth round. A QB who's stock dropped and every team passed on numerous times.

Dak has had a good season with the Cowboys but that does not mean he would be a good QB on any other team. I'm not actually sold on him being that good of a QB yet. I need to see him play another season after all teams have more tape on him. He also has the benefit of a great OL with a great RB. He landed in one of the greatest situations ever.

Seeing that he didn't draft a qb in 2 years that's a good reason. We had 3 4th round picks. Why not take a gamble on a QB? Now we're in a situration in which he has to draft a QB high this year. This 3-13 year would of looked much better if we were grooming a QB and ready to play him next year...

I completely agree that he should have drafted a QB in one of those years but I really doubt it would have made the team that much better. If he was going to draft a QB it was going to be in the late rounds and who knows it Fox every would have started him.

The topic of the thread is who gets the deflated ball for the game, not the season.
