DJ Moore people don't realize is only 6' 0" tall. He's a great shifty route runner but not a huge "big target" guy. The Bears also desperately need a receiving TE (essentially a big WR) to bridge the gap between Kmet and Moore.

Brock Bowers is a legit target I'd think like you said, and if he and the big 3 receivers are gone, I'm trading back with that pick at 9 and getting more draft capital. I saw someone throw this out there and I like the idea of drafting Johnny Wilson from FSU in the 3rd/4th round and making him a U TE. The dude is 6'7'' 237lbs!! He'd make for one hell of a red zone target. I also like Ja'Tavion Sanders if we get a 2nd round pick, or Ben Sinott and Dallin Holker in the later rounds.

This particular draft seems to have a wealth of skill players on offense available... some years in the past it has been on the lean side. It just looks like a great opportunity for the Bears to add a couple of major roster upgrades on offense. As far as defense I haven't really followed that. I love adding these guys in the draft because the FA guys are often overpriced for what you get. I love how Poles is trying to build as much as possible through the draft here.

I would be okay with defense if that is the best bang-for-the-buck there. I don't advocate reaching and over-drafting just to check a box. My personal dream draft would be to keep Fields, draft MHJ in a tiny trade-down, and get Newton as our 3T, then hopefully there is a 2nd round pick from the small trade-down that allows us to get the best offensive center in this draft with it. LOL, that is my meatball special pipe dream :-)

But I fully admit I don't know squat about it all.

I would sign-on with that draft, but I don’t think it has any chance of happening. Guys like Carter, Stroud, and Harrison are going to be stars in this league for years to come.

We should get a good center in second round with the Fields trade. That seems realistic.

That would be an elite offense of skill players.
