mpbears68 had the idea of starting a thread to discuss these videos - one for OFFENSE and another for DEFENSE. So let's give this a try. I know a number of us really enjoy these videos, so I'm looking forward to this. And thanks, MP for the idea.
I was struck by that too. I prob would have put him one notch up from there but Lucas is right that Brax didn't have a great 2023.
I wouldn't rule out drafting a LT at #9. Not my personal preference but I could see it happening.
Maybe go with Brax this year and if we need an upgrade there, then address that in 2025. The guy has enough floor to give him this upcoming season.
I'm ok with giving Brax another year. But I could see a scenario where Alt is BPA at #9 depending on how the picks go. But Brax is gonna have to improve for next year if he wants to get his money.
That's about the only conundrum on offense for me. Otherwise I know who I am keeping and who I am not. I'd like to see Poles sign 1 and draft 2 receivers (WRs/TEs). I'm done with Velus.

Brax’s pass blocking grade was 81.7. Nothing “average” about that. Ranked 6th in the league. He’s also an excellent run blocker on sweeps.
His overall grade was better than Wright, Dawand Jones, or Broderick Jones.
Yeah, I love the guy, but those grades are not accurate. Especially with OL. Brax has definitely struggled at times. That is what this guy is talking about. He is not a bad player but he is not where he ultimately needs to be to stay at LT here. And I 100% believe he will show improvement this 3rd season. It often takes offensive linemen and TE's too for that matter, 3 seasons to get the game down at the NFL level. That's why I just shake my head when folks are critical of these guys their rookie season in particular. That is notw who they are - or going to be. They are "works in progress" for a few years.
