So you are saying its not the bad behaviour one has, its up to the coaches to let it slide, if he is quality, of course? Coaches can train toughness on less important ones though. I call BS. Kelce was out of line. Not sure if I would throw him out, but seeing the scene where his teammate literally drags him away from a eldery gentleman is an example of horrible behaviour. Like I said, his parents must be ashamed. Not to mention that asshole is one of the most well-known NFL stars atm. And not cos of his play. Bad example for kids out there.
I'm just saying. Like many fans and even players blaming Belichick for benching Butler. Calling out his ego.
I'm not saying Kelce wasn't out of line. He was.
Just that punishing the team to create a memory and legacy is far more important than one persons action. Reid knew that and kept him in.
I'm sure his parents are proud of him. How many can say their son is a 3 time super bowl champion with millions of dollars that can support them for the rest of their life.
Are we not talking about that certain situation? No need to act dumb. Besides, I have no idea what his parents regard as important and something to be proud about. I hope its not the amount of money, cos then we are all screwed. Maybe they are ashamed of that Reid scene. Maybe they looked away when he was slurring 'songs' like an alpha donkey... No idea, dont know them. My parents would for sure have a problem with that. So, that is my position.

Yes, Kelce yelled "Keep me in" on the fumble play which Reid didint'... (Coach mistake) That's ok, don't use your parents and his against each other. Different era... I hope its not the amount of money, cos then we are all screwed... Sadly, that's what life is becoming... Wages have been stagnate for so long for average amercians.

Wouldnt say its a different era, im 40, Kelce is 35. Tbh thats what bothers me. Guy is 35 and throwin tantrums. Sad.
I'd be a horrible HC and sit his ass. Even if it meant losing the game. No place for that disrespect crap on the field.
TayTay needs to realize her squeeze has anger issues. Wouldn't surprise me if she dumps him cuz of it and she writes songs about it. Like she does with all her exes (according to my wife anyway, I've never heard any of her songs.)
Didn't Bill Belchick do that to Butler and lost a Super Bowl cause of that?
Sometimes you got to put ego to the side if you want to win.
Yes, egos MUST be put aside. That is why Reid SHOULD have sat Kelce. To put Kelce in his place, and as an example for the rest of the TEAM. No one single person is more important than the TEAM. It wouldn't be Reid's ego at play here. It would be Reid explaining to the TEAM that noone, not even Kelce can disrespect another member of the TEAM.
I didn't say take him out of the game. I said sit his ass. long enough to teach him and the team a lesson.
Also, if he's that angry, do you want him on the field making stupid moves and getting unsportsmanlikes? Sit his ass a while. Yes, it may cost the game. But so could an unsportsmanlike. And so could a lack of respect for the coaches.

I’m with you on this one. Kelce’s behavior was out of line, but if Reid benches him and costs them the game, then you’re letting down the whole team, organization, and fan base because of one heated moment. There are plenty of things Reid can do in the offseason, preseason or even the regular season next year to discipline Kelce if he thinks it’s necessary. But, I think Reid has earned the benefit of the doubt that he did and will handle this whole situation properly.

But he caused none of them. We can't play what ifs because he was playing the game.
I'm sorry but there are players more important than the team. All Pros who are game changing are far more important than backups. Again, many players and fans wished Butler played in the Super Bowl lost. Most people would prefer punishment would be in offseason and not effect everyone. It becomes a powertrip from a coach. Similar to when you were in lower grades and the teacher punishes everyone because of one person mistake.
When it comes to meaningful game like the Super Bowl. Things change.

I disagree with this whole trend of thought. You don't get to be the best by being agreeable. This is not business acumen we are seeing. This is a fighter who fought his whole life to be the best he can be, in the heat of battle he had an opinion and let it be known. He spoke up for his beliefs. I was on a college sports scholarship and this is exactly the type personality I would want on my team, not a yes man hoping for a better outcome, but a fighter trying to persuade the outcome. It's never a good idea to confront coach, but with proper intentions and verbal outburst is generally overlooked to a degree. Just my pennies and thoughts.

Interesting take on C. He doesn't think the Bears will take a C in the draft because he feels they would need a late 1 or early 2 pick to get a starter.
