Oh, he could have thrown us the "coach speak" crap and make it sound like he was going to do something privately like he was gonna spank him in private or some such garbage. Instead it was a nothing burger... he's already thinking of a 3-peat and looking forward and not backwards. Reid has been through so much in his life that he doesn't sweat the small stuff. He is resilient. He doesn't try to impress people. He is just easy-going "Andy" - the fans there affectionately call him Big Red. I love that. Dude is one smart man. Both about the X's and O's - and also people.
EDIT: I really feel bad for how his sons got off track. I can relate to that in my own family's struggles.
It just wasn't a big deal. It is an emotional game played by emotional men. Stuff happens. Kelce is a 1st ballot Hall of Fame TE who loves his coach and team - and will help them to a 3-peat Super Bowl win. I wish we had him on our team. I figure that's between him and the coach privately... I'll bet they just laughed about it and have already moved on.
That may be. Not sure what else he couldve said. In the same time, feels like Kelces parents could be embarassed.

Yikes! Didn't know he was into that
I think he's more into cheeseburgers, fries and nuggies :-)
I would coach as a MF too if a guy like Kelce is screamin in my ear and bumpin me
I'd be a horrible HC and sit his ass. Even if it meant losing the game. No place for that disrespect crap on the field.
TayTay needs to realize her squeeze has anger issues. Wouldn't surprise me if she dumps him cuz of it and she writes songs about it. Like she does with all her exes (according to my wife anyway, I've never heard any of her songs.)
Didn't Bill Belchick do that to Butler and lost a Super Bowl cause of that?
Sometimes you got to put ego to the side if you want to win.

Yes, and if Reid benched Kelce. They would of surely lost... See my point?
Edelman and Brady wished Butler played.
Kelce because of his behaviour almost got benched. They would of surely lost... See my point?
I'm a bit confused.
Taking away a great player is up to the coach. He coaches many people which all have unique behavior. Many good/bad and many in the moment.
Belichick cost Patriots a Super Bowl and many players wished Bulter was there to slow down the Eagles passing attack. Brady broke a playoff record in passing and still lost.
Its better to punish the player later rather than costing 51 players a ring for selfish behavior.
Coach owns all final decisions on whos playing no matter good or bad.

So you are saying its not the bad behaviour one has, its up to the coaches to let it slide, if he is quality, of course? Coaches can train toughness on less important ones though. I call BS. Kelce was out of line. Not sure if I would throw him out, but seeing the scene where his teammate literally drags him away from a eldery gentleman is an example of horrible behaviour. Like I said, his parents must be ashamed. Not to mention that asshole is one of the most well-known NFL stars atm. And not cos of his play. Bad example for kids out there.

I'm just saying. Like many fans and even players blaming Belichick for benching Butler. Calling out his ego.
I'm not saying Kelce wasn't out of line. He was.
Just that punishing the team to create a memory and legacy is far more important than one persons action. Reid knew that and kept him in.
I'm sure his parents are proud of him. How many can say their son is a 3 time super bowl champion with millions of dollars that can support them for the rest of their life.
