D'onta played 9 games not even 120 carries. Again not starting material.

Maybe Roschon can be that guy, but the team trusted him in 15 games w/81 carries. This isn't a WR or TE, RB is the easiest position to translate from college to the pro's. Need to bring in someone else b/c you cannot roll these 3 back and expect much better.

Team like the Bears should be adding RB every season--draft, UDFA...try to bottle lightning.

If Saquon Barkley becomes a FA. You bit the bullet and take him. Having a top 10 RB to help a rookie QB out while also using our #9 overall pick to get the best WR left.

This offense can look like something else.

Adding....by late round draft pick, cheap FA signing, etc. IOW, what we have been doing for years.

RoJo was a 4th and entering his 2nd

Spend a 5th on another one and that's all you have to do. 95% of RBs are easily replaceable with a cheap FA and/or Day 3 pick.

RB is not a significant need for us. We have way bigger problems in the passing game.

Yep, RB's are a dime a dozen. Want to know what's not? A real NFL passing QB who can throw for 4k yards, 30+ TDs, win a playoff game, have a pro bowl, and start 80+ games. That' something this franchise really needs and watching the Chiefs vs Bills games prove it.

Not sure I would take that bet either.

For me, an "above average passing metric", while still a major improvement from here, is NOT enough. I want a legit top-7 QB. I don't want to dick around for the next 8 years like we did with Cutler trying to "fix" the QB. You have the #1 pick and once-a-decade QB prospect is sitting there for the taking.

Might be a different story is we were picking at #20. We aren't.

I maintain Fields ceiling is a mid-tier passer. I have seen nothing that shows me he will be good enough to justify passing on the #1 pick again this draft.
