+1 I think we are witnessing the "passing of the old guard" now with Belichick and Pete Carroll. Andy Reid is still doing well but that's because he has Patrick Mahomes in his prime right now. It would be like Belichick having Tom Brady in his prime... that alone sustains a lot of winning. But I expect Andy to be retired soon too. Time to let the next generation of head coaches have their chance at success. There are some young HC's now coming in who will have some mighty big shoes to fill.

He comes across as a "good old boy" guy, but reading up on him it sounds like he is a very very sharp coach. His Wiki background mentions that he was a college teammate of Jim McMahon. LOL, I found that interesting. It also said that when he interviewed for his 1st head coaching job, he showed up to the interview with a 5-inch thick detailed written plan that outlined exactly what he would do if the Eagles made him their head coach. He got the job.

It is funny you say that because I did read that Reid was going to retire and KC is believed to hire Belichick as HC.
