I graduated with honors years ago and never received my degree! 🤨🤨 Didn't you receive the "Happy Meal" coupons?
We don't issue degrees. We only take in money. And yes, I had a Big Mac and Large Fries for Lunch. Thank You. Next time please include enough for a drink
A drink? How about a hot apple pie and a chocolate shake?

The Raiders are not the only franchise who will pursue Harbaugh though. I think fans sometimes thing that just offering a guy an HC gig here - that it equates to the guy wanting to coach here verses another team... Harbaugh has options.
It's true other franchises will pursue him but Harbaugh has stated in the past that he loves the idea of returning to Chicago.
Yeah, I don't know WHAT to believe. This morning I'm sure some of you heard the guys on the Score talking about how the Bears organization is NOT as attractive for Jim Harbaugh as other franchises... and they named others better than Chicago. I think fans are delusional thinking we are this great destination coveted by Jim Harbaugh. They were talking about how Jim knows about the issues at the top and would NOT want to be under their thumb. Does ANYONE here on this messageboard believe otherwise... Jim Harbaugh knows this franchise and the dysfunction... why on earth would he WANT to come here? This man will have better offers - where he will have COMPLETE control - and probably be offered more money too. Remember the Bears will still be paying Eberflus for some time - Biggs says he has a 4 year contract.

First off, it's lying season when it comes to NFL coaching. Just like it is about players leading up FA and the draft. Lot of nonsense, clickbait, and innuendo flying around out there.
Secondly, Harbaugh has a lot of history here just like he did with UM. He took over that program when it was in the dumps and a shadow of its former glory. Within a few years he had it on the mend and just took it all the way to the promised land. He's not gonna be scared off by "challenges". Despite the ineptitude of Flutsy, a new HC here would be looking at a ton of cap space, ample draft capital both now and in the future, and his choice of QB. The defense seems to be stabilizing so this team needs help mostly on OFFENSE, particularly passing O, and that's right in Harbaugh's wheelhouse.
The question is less if he wants to come to the Bears but more if the Bears are willing to hand him the keys (and money). They SHOULD.
Tell me this, JABF: What exactly has "maintaining control" by the organization gotten us? How's that worked out? Is there a row of Lombardi Trophies in the display case at Halas Hall?
I'll tell you how it's worked out. This franchise has been a bottom-5 unit for a large chunk of the last 10 years. Since Lovie, we have had a string of failed HCs, GMs, and QBs. We have won only 1 playoff game in 16 years and have finished last in the division multiple times in the last 5. Most years we are lucky to go 2-4 in division at best.
So, if I were George and I really wanted to get a stadium deal done (which he clearly DOES), then I'd stop being penny-wise, pound-foolish and I'd give Harbaugh want he wants so he can handle football strategy and personnel while Warren gets a stadium deal over the finish line. We seem to forget that the Bears being in the NFL trash heap like they are makes a favorable stadium deal HARDER to get done.
George and Teddy would be wise to recognize that landing a talent like Harbaugh and revitalizing the moribund football play of this team would be a huge boost to the appeal of a stadium for any municipality considering it. Gives Bears a lot more leverage with a successful and exciting product out there.

Thats a bit of hyperbole...Hoke was a terrible coach, but he could recruit. His last season he got one of the 4th best recruit in the country, and #1 at his position in Jabrill Peppers. Harbaugh took over a roster that had a lot of talent...it just needed an actual coach. I know its the silliest thing, but it used to drive me nuts Hoke never wore a headset...he had absolutely no clue what was going on on offense or defense. But look at those rosters...there's a bunch of pro's that were already there when Harbaugh took the gig.
We think (mistakenly) that Harbaugh would jump at the chance to come to Chicago rather than accept a HC job with another franchise. It's such a dysfunctional franchise. Nobody knows that better than Jim Harbaugh.
What have you learned that supports this?
FWIW, just this morning they had people on the Score saying the exact same thing. Harbaugh knows the McCaskey culture here and won't come to Chicago - and that other franchises will give him a better opportunity than the Bears. He is not coming to Chicago. I don't know where we get this, that somehow Chicago is some golden destination for Jim Harbaugh. It isn't. And they talked about this on the Score about how Jim will want full authority when he goes to the NFL... even now we are hearing that Warren and Poles don't have that authority here... they can't even make the decision on Eberflus' tenure here (even Warren will only have some "input" but the McCaskeys will make the decision on Eberflus). I don't know, man. I just don't see Jim Harbaugh coming to Chicago. Personally, I would be fine with Harbaugh as our head coach. Put me down as not being a Harbaugh hater. Rather, I am saying he won't come here. I just don't see it happening.

I am not disagreeing with you about this. I agree. It makes a lot of sense to me. I'm not sure it will be what the McCaskey family does though. They don't always do the right thing.
And I just don't believe Jim Harbaugh will come here. And I don't think his Bears experience was like his Michigan experience. I can definitely see him going to UM. But coming back to the Bears and the McCaskeys - I don't think he has any nostalgic attraction for that. But maybe I'm wrong. And for the record I am not against hiring Harbaugh. I'm just saying I don't think he will come here. I don't.
