Scared of ownership?
If that's the case, it truly speaks about how bad our ownership truly is. That this team will never be good until they sell.
I'm sure the NFL agent he hired has already had first contact with all the interested NFL teams. Harbaugh laid down his terms and checked to see who was interested. He's weighing salary, how much control over the roster he can get from various teams, how much of an input does he have with/over the GM.
Teams looking to save face are leaking that they aren't interested. Teams that interest Harbaugh are being leaked by the agent as places of interest.
I doubt Harbaugh himself has even had a single phone call yet.

I think he would be interested under the right conditions, but I don't think those conditions will happen. I believe he would want more control over player selection that Poles would give him and I think the owners like a "gentleman" type personality. More of an exec style than an emotional coach style. Last emotional style coach we had IMO was Ditka and he ended up getting canned. IMHO those issues are working against him

It sounds like he is probably behind this information getting out. Maybe he doesn't like the fact that the McCaskey's still control the football operations here and he wouldn't want to stake his future on this franchise under those conditions. Frankly, I can understand him feeling that way. His hands would be tied. Harbaugh does not HAVE to accept any NFL coaching gig. He can be pretty selective and apparently does not want any part of the Chicago Bears.
