Saw a rumor from a pretty good source that Washington is offering their first rounder this year and next year plus Terry McLaurin for #1...I'll take that in a heart beat and roll with Fields and watch him shine.

My biggest concern with Fields is. He's not a great qb. He's a running qb who his horrible in the 4th quarter. He's at best at game managing qb. He can't make those special game changing plays like Mahomes can.
Not having a single 4000 yard season in the modern NFL doesn't look good. Love who has lesser talent will get it against us. What if Williams is a top 10 QB in the NFL? We have two top 10 picks. We can get a good WR and the #1 QB in this draft.

Love is going to be a 4k passer this year. Fields isn't even close to 3k.
Fields hasn't even had a 3k+ yard season yet. This is his highest and it isn't even 2.5k passing yards.
If you take away Bear bias and recent bias and look at the stats. He's not a good QB. Having the #1 pick and being in the average tier list does wonders for us.
We can grab a QB without giving up any future first round picks and still grab a WR in a very DEEP wr class. Will they be Harrison good? No but we need a WR #2 the opposite of Moore.
Again, this is the best QB class in a while. Next year is going to be worse. This is the time to grab a QB. New HC + New OC + New QB would create an exciting 2024 season.
At the end of the day you have a choice. Aaron Rodgers vs Michael Vick. Who do you pick?

My problem is a qb who hasn't thrown 3k yards.... NFL offense allows 4k for even average qbs now. Fields is trash at that. You have to remember. We have one of the weakest schedules and still have a losing record.
