What should happen if Fields lights it up these 7 games?

We could definitely get a guy with elite ceiling in this draft.  Obviously any draftee isn't going to be elite just due to his draft position.  But I think there are guys in this draft who could have the talent to be that good... similar to RT Wright not being elite right away, but he sure appears to have the raw talent to ascend to that level.  I would like to see a C version of Wright... and you can often get a C in the second round with that kind of potential.  They are not as pricey in the draft as OT's are.

Georgia's Sedrick Van Pran would be a fantastic pick this coming draft but he is going high in the 2nd round according to the experts (LOL, for whatever that is worth).  We no longer have a 2nd round draft pick so that ship has sailed.  Miami's Matt Lee will go in the 2nd round and he'd be a solid C too.  But again, we spent our 2nd round pick already.  Frazier from West Virginia might be a good fit for our offense.  He's probably a 2nd rounder too... but he could fall to the 3rd round.  Seth McLaughlin (Alabama) could be a 3rd rounder worth considering.  After those guys, I'm thinking we're into the "hope and a prayer" guys.  Could one be great in the NFL?  Sure.  But more likely they are JAG's.

We invested in defense with that pick when we got Sweat.  So it's Patrick for now.  No team is going to let a great C go in FA.  Not saying the Sweat deal was a bad one.  I'm just wishing we still had a 2nd round pick for a C in this draft.
