Flush pretty much sealed his fate, along with Getlost. We need a coaching change from top to bottom. But with Fields it might be a coin toss on whether Poles moves on from him. Despite the really poor yardage he has flashed some progress with those dimes to Moore for the TD and the missed TD to the rook.

We will see.
I don't see how any GM could bring them back at this point.
If you're gonna ride with Fields and just try to add talent around him, then how the hell can you justify doubling down on failure by keeping the coaching staff that won only 6 games with him as the starter?
If you're gonna move on, how can you justify putting a new QB in these guys hands? What have they done to make you feel like they can develop a young QB?

It is kind of sad that Fields could possibly be facing his third system change in his short NFL career. If Flus and his crew hasn't already effed him up. The new changes will if/when new staff comes on board. This is of course Poles finds no takers on a trade for him.

IMO no way does Fields come back if we get a new HC. I can't imagine any HC prospects look at him and say yeah I'll take him vs a shiny rookie he can mold and help grow. Fields still has the same issues he's always had. Can't see the field great. Holds onto the ball to long. Will look to run instead of head down field looking to pass on the run. He is what he is at this point.
I posted about this somewhere recently but can't recall. To the effect that you get the feeling that this debacle loss vs Detroit will be remembered as the final nail in the Flus coffin. Others have as well.
I watched a couple pods/vids from Bears media people today and even they are now openly saying Flus is done. The decision has already been made. Barring a 6-0 finish, his goose is cooked.
There's no surviving losing a game like hasn't been done in 90 years of NFL football, going 0-9 in division, and 6-22 overall.
I hope it's true. Just because I want Flutsy gone no matter what. If they take Poles with them or not, I really don't care that much. Whatever it takes to get rid of these guys. I have become convinced that this coaching staff is the biggest impediment to improvement currently with the team.
Yes, I know the roster also needs more talent. No need to re-state the obvious.
