Vic Fangio Leaving the Chicago Bears?!?

Of course.  MSU stuff, wild conspiracy theories & tin foil hat ideas are always accepted and appreciated.  We're fans.  It's what we do.

By-the-way, I don't think the tin foil hat alone is the best way to go anymore to detect the Bears management conspiracy theories.  I've gone the extra mile and have integrated the tin foil hat with my Directv dish... I find it definitely amplifies the "voices" in my head that keep me abreast of what the McCaskey's are doing.  But the downside is that it is cold, snowy and downright icy-slick up there this morning.  And the only info I could hear today is that Virginia is constipated this morning and George may have to have new tires put on his car.  I'm not even gonna start a thread on either of those topics today...



NOTE:  If you try this, it is absolutely vital that you point the dish accurately at Halas Hall.  If you look closely you'll note that I have a small GPS integrated in my unit so I can get the angle within the required 5-degrees margin of error.  I am pretty sure that this is the same type unit that is used by Steve Rosenbloom for his Chicago Trib articles.  
 

I really admire people who stick with a team through the tough times.  Around where I live, there are a number of "fans" who follow whatever team is winning.  Broncos, Pats, Green Bay... when the Steelers were winning they were Steeler fans.  In baseball they do the same thing.  St Louis Cardinals fans, but now that the Cubs have won a WS they sport the Cubs merchandise.

LOL, I still just have 1 jersey...  a George Halas player jersey (for real, I'm not joking).  I'm just a crazy old coot Bears fan.  The Bears ain't gettin rid of me that easy either.  Of course that brings our sanity into question, but I'm okay with that :-)

I really love Fangio and truly appreciate what he means to this club. If Fangio were to go and we got Gus Bradley, that would be about the only guy I would say could replace Fangio. I NEVER would have thought I would type that, and still hope Fangio stays, but I would not have a meltdown if Bradley came in. I could actually live with that.

I'm not going to worry about it now.  We will just have to wait and see what happens.  

Maybe Pace is some helpless puppet who is GM in name only... but I do find that hard to believe.  Until I see hard evidence to the contrary, I'm believing that he is the Chicago Bears GM, and not in name only.  These are Ryan Pace's players.  These are his coaches.  This is his team.  

And one reason I believe that is important, is because I do think we have a solid young GM here in Pace.  He seems bright... a smart young guy on the way up.  I truly do believe that he is in the process of rebuilding the Chicago Bears, and he should get credit for that.  But at the same time, I do hold him accountable for mistakes too.  You can't have it both ways.  This is his team.
