Bears’ Dysfunction Comes To Light With John Fox On Hot Seat

at least we can't blame Cutler for this season with his 1 1/2 games played.
Ted Philips has to go and Pace has to fire Fox.

Bears are a cash cow why would they move on? I buy multiple t-shirts and tickets when I'm in town, I watch every game to the bitter end, I've bought hundreds of dollars of crap with the Bears logo on it and I know people who spend 100x what I do. I've bought the Sunday ticket and multiple other packages to watch the Bears overseas. I blame TP for that, cause it's his job to maximize profits.

For the on the field product, I blame Pace and Fox. Apparently many of you believe that Phillips has the power and the personality to call Fox into his office and tell him which QB to start. I laugh at you. That conversation would end with Fox kicking Phillips' nether regions. Want to know why the Bears suck? Pace and Fox. Want to know when the Bears will be better? When they get a GM and a HC who know what they are doing.

Businesses, especially family businesses use outside sources all the time.  It can be needed a lot of times because everyone in the business can get content and settle for things.  An outside firm can add another point of view and much needed different opinion.

I'm part owner of my family's business and we run into the same thing.  My dad has been trying to get an outside person on our board for years now so we could get a different perspective on our business.  Sometimes owners need some help.

Or they know what they are doing and also know they are too close to the personal involved and want to outsource the hatchet jobs, which corporations also do when undoing change. You bring in a firm that looks at all operations and tells you who to let go and which departments to shake up. Family is able to stay away and not let personal opinions influence the process. I still think many of us are reaching here in our readings between the lines.
