lambert is literally an idiot. for years we have been complaining about depth and the lack there off. but now, we should trade Floyd because of course the guys behind him are so much better. heck, its not a problem, we can just pick any OLB off the scrap heap and use him for depth. TRADE FLOYD NOW!!! Same with the guys that want to trade Kush. Let me type it slower and maybe if Lambert comes here he can read it and understand it.
No matter how bad Floyd is playing or we think he is playing, it is not worth it to trade away a player that would affect the depth of the DEF.
And no, I didn't read the article. He's one of three on my don't read list---Lambert, Rosenbloom, and Isaacson (although she might not be writing Bears stuff anymore, I stopped reading her in the Lovie years.)
I don't think you'd get much for him. He's worth more to us than what we'd get in return. Boy, I'm re-watching the game tonight and the defense looks like it is just mailing it in from the start. Like they're just going through the motions. Nichols looks like he has the fire though.

I agree. I would trade him for a 2nd round pick and start Lynch in his place. Actually, Lynch has been playing better than him this year. But, as you say, the way he is performing, we couldn't get much for him in trade now.
“Leonard Floyd? You better start doing something. You better start acting like you want to play. I’m sitting here, I’m watching you at the point of attack and I’m seeing people just mashing you. You got to be better than that.” - NFL analyst Louis Riddick on ESPN 1000

I watched Floyd pretty carefully from the stands on Sunday. When he wasn’t getting beat in coverage he was getting knocked on his ass at the LOS. Shades of Shea McClellin

He has looked weak this season when engaged. I don't think he's tradable and hope a healed arm = better play. He had a tough time covering NE rbs but has done a decent job in coverage this year.
