Didn't we say Logg was good and we are keeping him?
Come to think of it..... we decided that about Fox too....
I don't recall anyone ever thinking Loggains was good. Fox has been debated multiple times but I'm pretty sure no one likes Loggains.
I believe the word out there by writers and analysts was that Loggains improved throughout the year. I haven't done any analysis to either confirm or deny what those people said so I can't say whether I agree or not, but I would not have minded seeing a bonafide upgrade at the OC position if one were available.

I guess I'm just a little slow then. Isn't it implicit when you elect to keep someone that you think they are doing a good job? Or do you think there is the possibility that they did not think he was doing a good job and decided that he was still the best option to do that job?

Neither. Ted Philips invested in a booster carrier for "The Logg" and figured we couldn't lose that investment money by hiring another OC... he tried to find another midget OC but they apparently are tough to find in the NFL now. I think Sweaty Teddy believed the booster carrier expense counted against our cap. That Ted... always looking out for the team. Best bean counter ever.
Yeah but we had Cutler/Hoyer/Barkley/Fales as our QBs this year throwing to the backup "Stone Hand Boys" and with "The Logg" coaching that offense. That should be just as good as Aaron Rodgers & the Packers offense, right?
I mean you just need to overcome that sort of thing JABF. Thats all. You just gotta want it. Skill vs Will brotha! It's like when my younger athletes ask me "why I didn't want to go pro". Apparently I just didn't want to be a professional athlete, it had nothing to do with the fact I wasn't good enough.

Your coach just wasn't good enough
That too. It's a combination of me not wanting to be a professional athlete and my coach not being very good. I mean he was good enough to get other guys into the league....but I guess maybe it's because those guys wanted to be pro's and apparently I didn't despite dreaming of it since I was a little kid. Or maybe it was a combination of my coach wanting to coach those guys who wanted to be pro's better? Man...now I'm confused...but at least I kind of feel better about the fact that it wasn't because I just wasn't good enough...

But I don't recall anyone on this forum wanting to keep Loggains. That's my point, we all pretty much seemed to agree that we didn't like him and wanted him gone or at least replaced as OC.
AS for Fox there were many mixed opinions and for good reason.

If he was any good he would have coached you up. Now you can hold your head up high knowing that you should be playing in the NFL.

You're absolutely right! He just should have figured out a way to get the most out of my undersized frame with less than ideal speed. I coulda been a contendah!

ok!
Now we are all in agreement. Back to Fox not being a good coach then.
