I don't think we are a bottom3 Team that only wins 3 games...
That has been my point and all I hear back is... "injuries". GB had damn near as many and they were playing to be in the SB. Not to say we should have been, but we should not have been winning only 3 games either.
The truth is probably somewhere in the middle on this one. Yes, we should have won more than 3 games. How many, well, who knows because the injury situation and roster talent (obviously we are not Green Bay talent wise) affected the season to some extent. I think most of us are not disagreeing. We just can't definitively say exactly how much the season was affected by each factor (coaching, lack of roster talent, injuries and whatever).
I know it sounds like a lame answer, but we will know more when the new season is under way (with that 3rd Pace influx of talent through the draft and the free agency).

we all were expecting around 7-8 Ws this year and that was the average, not the good and bad case.
3 is just not good enough and our injury Problems aren't as bad when you look at some of the names on that list. It just wasn't good enough
I've got them in the lower end of the middle third. I see a good amount of talent on this team but there needs to be more. Not only does there need to be more but there needs to be a coaching staff in place that knows how to put them in position to win. There needs to be a good system in place. There needs to be a game plan.
The Patriots are always a prime example. Year after year they have a roster full of guys that are let go of other teams. These are guys that either have personality problems or are considered to not be talented enough. For some reason when they go to the Patriots they seem to play pretty damn good. Having one of the best QBs in NFL history helps a ton but so does having a great coaching staff.
He are some of the best players on the team.
Jordan Howard - Second most rushing yards in the NFL and didn't even play much the fist couple games. Going to the Pro Bowl. Alshon Jeffery - Top 15 WR over his career. Has the talent but needs to be on the field and actually thrown to. Kyle Long - One of the best Gs in the NFL and arguably the best player on the team. Josh Sitton - One of the best Gs in the NFL and going to another Pro Bowl. Cody Whitehair - One of the biggest surprises on the team. Played C better than most veterans in his rookie year. Can play any position on the OL. Jerrell Freeman - Rated as the best ILB in the NFL. Danny Trevathan - Highly rated LB but was injured. Still considered a great LB. Eddie Goldman - One of the better young DL in the NFL. Hakeem Hicks - Had a fantastic season and looks to do it again next season. Leonard Floyd - Performed exactly as a top draft pick is expected to perform. He outperformed almost everyone's expectations.
Those are the best just off the top of my head and there are some other boarder line players that could make that list as well. I think Kevin White could make that list if we actually see him play a full season.

The Packers would most likely have been a 3 win team if they were using their second, third and even fourth string QBs through the whole season. The Packers were not that great of a team and just happened to get hot riding on the back of Rodgers to get into the playoffs.
Regardless of all the injuries the Bears were in most of the games they played and if they had a franchise QB like Rodgers they would have one most of those. If the Bears had Rodgers and the Packers had Barkley I bet the Bears would have beat them easily.

Check out mangameslost.com and tell me Green Bay was just as impacted as we were when it comes to injuries.

Shhhhhh Hawk....this logical and rational argument is not welcome here.

Yeah but we had Cutler/Hoyer/Barkley/Fales as our QBs this year throwing to the backup "Stone Hand Boys" and with "The Logg" coaching that offense. That should be just as good as Aaron Rodgers & the Packers offense, right?

Didn't we say Logg was good and we are keeping him?
Come to think of it..... we decided that about Fox too....

I don't recall anyone ever thinking Loggains was good. Fox has been debated multiple times but I'm pretty sure no one likes Loggains.

I mean you just need to overcome that sort of thing JABF. Thats all. You just gotta want it. Skill vs Will brotha! It's like when my younger athletes ask me "why I didn't want to go pro". Apparently I just didn't want to be a professional athlete, it had nothing to do with the fact I wasn't good enough.
