D Thomas = Kevin White ( Until 2012 season he was a huge question mark similar to White ) E Decker - Never had a 1,000 yard season before Manning Howard is looking to be better than any of the RBs Broncos had at the time Wolfe - Rookie that year Miller - He was a great player Danny T - Late round pick trying to prove himself
Bears:
RB: Howard WR: AJ, White ( Since you put Thomas on there ), Meredith ( 888 yards this year ) TE: Miller OT: Leno, Massie OG: Sitton and Long C: Whitehair
One of the best interior O-lines in the league.
LBs: Freeman, Danny T, Kwiatkoski OLBs: Floyd, Mcphee, and Young DE: Hicks NT: Goldman CB: Porter and Fuller
I know its the cool thing to say that we have no talent but the truth is we are the same as the Broncos in 2012. The only difference is our offense is better than our defense while their defense was better than their offense.
You're wrong in so many places. First off their defense and offense were about the same. Offense was ranked second in points, and 4th in yards. Their defense was ranked 4th in points allowed, and 2nd in yards allowed.
Thomas was the number 3 his rookie year behind Eddie Royal and Brandon Lloyd. His second year he was the #2 and had Tim Tebow throwing him the ball and was the Broncos second leading receiver. He wasn't a question mark in 2012.
Eric Decker, also in his second year prior to Manning was the Broncos leading receiver...again with TIM TEBOW throwing the ball...NOBODY ON THAT TEAM HAD 1000 YARDS RECEIVING. Still wasn't a question mark though.
We are no where close to the 2012 Broncos and to suggest otherwise is a joke.
It was so ignorant at it's base I couldn't be bothered, thanks.

Was the offense missing their starters like the Bears?
You know:
Kevin White Eddie Royal Alshon Jeffery ( 4 games ) Zach Miller Street FA QB playing...
We were in the upper part of the league when it comes to offense:
14th passing yards 15th yards 17th rushing yards
With a brand new OC having to deal with Matt Barkley. A guy many on here saying he isn't close to a starter...
Yet with how lack luster offense:
We have:
#2 leading rusher in the NFL 2 800+ WRs
Great interior O-line
Sorry but to say this team has no talent at all is a joke.
Year before Peyton Manning:
2011 Broncos offense ranking: 23 total yards 2016 Bears offensive ranking:15 total yards
When I say 2012 season. I'm not comparing the season Manning played against Matt Barkley. I'm comparing the offseason changes that can happen to make us just like the 2012 Broncos.
Shows you how much a cable QB can change the team. With defensive players like Allen and Garrett for the taking at #3 that will drastically change our defense in a good way.
This is the same situation that the Broncos were in. One good draft class and FA signing away to being contenders...
Funny enough:
Their defense:
19th total yards 18th in passing yards 22th in rushing defense.
Vs
15th in total yards 7th in passing yards 27th in rushing yards

No...you said we were just like the 2012 Broncos. You said we have the same talent. Don't try to walk your way back now.

Our Talent isn't as bad as many say. We have no QB and our OC was bad for most of the year.
We Need a better QB and you'll see how much different it will look like. Draft your QB of the future and trade for Romo as best Option. If he gets injured, playing time for the rookie. If he stays healthy, playing time for Romo who is the best Option.
With all that questions about health and Money... why would the Broncos want him?
There are some talented players but are there enough? That's the big question. To me, depth is the biggest concern. Once those top players got hurt there seemed to be major drop offs.
