The guy at least seems serviceable for this year. He plays hard nosed football (kind of the anti-Nate Davis that way). Dude looks crazy-strong too.
I do think that one of Pryor or Murray can be a starting G on a really good team. They're a big upgrade over what we had previously at least.
+1 One factor that can help (significantly I think) is to have the unit working together over time. One of the things that seemed to be a problem earlier in the season was that the 5 guys seemed confused as to individual blocking responsibilities on plays. Defenses have evolved to a high level. It CAN be confusing as to who is to block who on plays sometimes... but with 5 guys getting more and more experience as 1 unit, they can be a LOT better as a unit. My only point is that Pryor at RG should get better as the season progresses. And I hope Jenkins can stay healthy for the season now also. Even Shelton is playing better now - certainly better than he was in the beginning of the season. This is why I like to remind myself to chill a bit until the end of the season and THEN we can better assess what we have with our existing players on the offensive line.
