Did the most basic of efforts in FA for the OL, no serious upgrades nor did he even try. Then took Rome at 9, as if the OL still didn't need major upgrades and then his only addition was a small school pre injured OT when IOL was the primary issue.
Then had the gaul to draft a punter instead of OL again. Luxury pick w/WR, another luxury pick w/P. Just 1/2 assing the OL all around since he's been here. Jenkins and Davis were not guaranteed to be positive starters and/or healthy. Brax isn't and has never been a + starting LT, and you had no C that was worth mentioning.
The O runs through the QB and the OL, not WR's, not TE's, not RB's. the OL and the QB. OL was a problem w/Cutler, Mitch, Fields and now CWill. But in that same time they had WR's of note, Marshal, Jeffery, they had rb's of note Forte, Howard, Monty. they hadTE's of note, Kmet, the O.D. None won bc none had good OL's. this team is already tiring and it's 3 weeks in.
Ryan Poles needs to be an option on that list. Tired of watching a crap OL get owned on game days. Mark my words. Caleb Williams will be on IR by the bye week. Maybe if he's lucky he'll get to the real tough part of the schedule after the bye - and get IR'd. It's coming. He's taking some tough hits and abuse these 3 games.
No blocking. No running (Swift blows chunks). Poles let Monty walk and brought in Swift. Pitiful play calling (Waldron just isn't looking good so far... that's on Poles too).
Poles "talks" a good story with the OL but his actions don't measure up with his talk. Other than Wright, the OL has been "built" with mediocre to downright bad players. Shameful. Just shameful.
OL. Really think we have one of the worst OLs in NFL. Left side is bad, middle has been abysmal for years, on the right Nate Davis is the worst Poles sign... Its really, really bad.

LOL, I'm just thinking it's time to at least warm up that hot seat a bit for Poles. If he (finally) fixes the OL in 2025 he will be my best bud, and "salt of the earth" guy. LOL.
