You don't rotate offensive lineman like you do defensive lineman. This is an awful comparison.
I know. Brax played every snap. Being 5th round pick didn’t prevent him from being a starter, and it shouldn’t prevent Booker. I just want Booker as my starter over Walker and get more snaps.
Who was Brax's competition? Larry Borom! Sorry, Walker has done slightly more in this league than Larry Friggen Borom had when Brax was drafted.
You also act like Flus won't give Booker more playing time if he proves he should garner more. That he's forever going to be second or third int he rotation all season. How about we see what he can do against actual NFL starters first? More isn't always more. Sometimes the best thing you can do for a players development is to let them do what they do best while they learn and develop the other skills they need as a season progresses.

It wasn’t Borom at the 2022 training camp. It was Teven Jenkins. Don’t you remember Jenkins having a fit because the Bears could see early that Brax was better? Jenkins went to camp expecting to have inside track for the job.
Let us compare Walker’s stats to Booker’s as the season progresses. The numbers will need to be adjusted for snap counts. I would abide by PFF grades, but let’s please not get into that dead horse topic.
so you cannot name them. got it. and why? b/c they weren't key's to the win, that's why. How many Chiefs players are winnings SB's w/out Kelce, Mahomes? Think Dru Tranquil is thinking he has a SB right now b/c of his contributions, or maybe just maybe its bc he's sitting on a team w/multiple future HoF'rs?
Some positions matter more than others, and some players matter more than others. To think otherwise is childish and no longer worth discussing.
That’s not the point. They did their damn job to enable guys like Mahomes to do theirs. “Some positions/players matter more than others” is another one of your obvious truisms. You don’t need stars at every position, but you do need competent players.
100% the point regardless of your inability to admit your errors.

If that were the point, we’d have nothing to argue about. As I said, it’s an obvious truism.
The main reason Mahomes had trouble with the Tampa defense in the Super Bowl is that his offensive line broke down. That illustrates MY point that you can have several Pro Bowlers on your team but if those lunch bucket guys don’t also do their jobs, you lose.

You had me at "if that were the point" but then there is no way I am going to swallow that you two would have nothing to argue about. Hell, I bet you could argue about not having anything to argue about

We can go on for 10 rounds and never get on the same subject. I lost count how many times I asked his evaluation of Walker. Still waiting….

obvious truesism that you argue against b/c you cannot live w/out arguing, for no other reason then to do it.
No one in 100 years is going to be talking about the great KC OL that built their dynasty, b/c it wasn't the reason. They will talk about the OL that build the Dallas dynasty in the 90's, bc they were. Obvious trueism, Mahomes and Kelce matter, they changed decide KC's ability to win/lose SB's.

No, it was Borom...they moved Jenkins to guard. They decided to do that before OTA's even began.

Once again, I know that. Didn’t I just say Bears made the decision early? Heading into 2022 everyone here and Jenkins himself assumed he’d be the odds-on favorite for LT. Nobody expected a 5th round guy to get the job. Once they got Brax in mini-camp, they jumped him to LT and moved Jenkins to guard. Jenkins was pissed off, and there was tension between him and Bears management.

It doesn't matter what Jenkins thought. The Bears were moving him to guard regardless. It wasn't because Brax impressed them so much on the draft night call. Jenkins didn't even play Left Tackle, he played RIGHT TACKLE! Jason Peters was the left tackle before Brax was drafted. It seems you don't know as much as you think you do.
