Sounds like Eberflus wants a pass rusher at #9.

LOL, I was just going to post this. So it does sound like they are open to an inside guy as well as an edge. They just want to pressure the QB. Of course, it's best if you have 2 edges AND an inside guy that can apply pressure. That's an elite line. We aren't going to get an elite line this year. We might have to settle for an offense that can protect the QB and score and then worry about the D next year. But we won't have these kind of high picks next year (unless it takes the new QB a while to learn)

Just remember, it's lying season. Up until the draft everything the FO or coaching staff says could mean anything. A lot of this stuff is just positioning and random noise to try to confuse all the other organizations. Trying to suss out any actual plan from this stuff is probably just going to give you a headache. 

Eberflus can take a back seat this year. He had 2 years where the defense got all the new add ons. Time to give Williams what he needs.
