I pointed to those two specifically because they were from GB and they might be the only franchise I can think of that has CONSISTENTLY developed good QBs. There are always outliers, so I don't know if the other QBs are part of a system or just some of those outliers. But in GB, the consistency tells me they have something working right.
And I say its random luck. They have had three completely different FOs (one that traded for Favre, one that drafted Rodgers and a different one that drafted Love)and at least three completely different coaching staffs during those years. Unless there is a magic formula passed down from FO/coaches to FO/coaches to FO/coaches I'd chalk it up to random luck. If it was possible to consistently develop good QBs every other team would copy it. Plenty of FO and coaching personal have passed from GB to other organizations, yet....where are the other teams consistently developing good QBs?
My point still remains, Rodgers sat under Favre, a HOF QB, with no pressure to replace Favre because Favre was playing at a high level. Love sat under Rodgers, a HOF QB, with no pressure to replace Rodgers because Rodgers was playing at an MVP level. No other organization has had those conditions. You see it as planned that way, I see it as happening that way because of Favre and Rodgers already being in place. I see this: if you want to develop good QBs, you need to have a HOF QB already in place. Because it hasn't happened any other place. Other see: Sit your QB for 3 years and you get a good QB.

Never going to settle this.
I hear ya, but if random luck keeps striking the same tree, well..... you have to consider that it's something else

and I hear ya. Can't explain it either, just know that the NFL is a copycat league and if it were possible every team would be trying it. So....its the football gods messing with Chicago.
