With Nabers/Odunze off the board before #9, I would like to trade down and get your guy Thomas plus a second round pick. With Poles taking Bates & Sheldon, it seems JPJ is no longer the trade down possibility. Too bad. In fact, I don’t think he drafts any center.

Not sure how I feel about this honestly. Allen is kind of old. Yeah he productive last year but how many more years are we going to get out of him 1, 2? That seems kind of high for a 4th rounder.
He’s age 32 but I like this deal even if only for one year. I was begging for Hopkins last year, and told he is too “old”. Allen is a GREAT route runner, and will help Williams launch his career. That’s the greatest benefit of this trade. Has Poles ever done anything with a 4th round pick? That’s not important.

If he trades down for a center, it will be for JPJ, not those guys. But it seems from these two FA acquisitions that he is not interested.

Pretty big move. Tough to get the next Puka Nacua (especially when you dont have a 5th rounder). Probably not going to find a rookie like Keenan Allen in rd 4.
This feels like a trade down by Poles at 1 or 9 for more picks is going to happen. Maybe multiple trades down.
Gave up our 4th round pick. He and DJ will be fantastic!

As I was grumbling about recently, Poles absolutely HAD to get a quality vet WR on board before the draft. We had nothing at the position after DJ Moore beforehand.

Don’t go crossing out Harrison. He is WHY I wouldn’t trade Fields. I am confident Fields would be fine with those 3 receivers. So would about 80% of the starting NFL QBs. We agree it ain’t happening.
