Huh?  Pats have been a very untalented roster for several years now.  

And Mac Jones passing stats are way ahead of Fields.

I'm at a point I just want to see it's over.

This is an interesting article. And it's actually tracking my thoughts too. I went from keeping Field to getting Williams to my current position which is wondering if they are meaning to keep Fields again. This article kind of goes through a mini analysis of why the author thinks they may be doing that.

And I have still not changed my position on not knowing which would be best. I still know that a successful Fields and a large haul is the very best. But again, I do not know for sure Fields Will be successful. So I still don't know if Williams or Fields is the right way to go. But the tea leaves ARE starting to look like keeping Fields and a trade down are back as a real possibility. If that happens, I'm not sure if that was the plan all long, if it changed with the Fields market (wrong reason to keep him), or if it evolved with additional research on Williams.

In effect, I still have no idea what's happening, but I do believe keeping Fields is back on the table. Maybe always was.

And I can't imagine how it must be with Fields himself.  Dude is just hanging and twisting in the wind.  His remaining options (that he doesn't control) go from bad to outright horrific.  He could land anywhere, or nowhere (some of the podcast people say the Bears should keep him for now and just send him home... I guess he'd just watch on his TV set like us fans for now).
