With the news that Mac Jones may join Cousins, Russell Wilson, Baker Mayfield and a deep QB draft, it's not the ideal time for the Bears to shop Fields.

When watching Fields I am reminded a bit of Randall Cunningham for his crazy ability to escape and then complete some great passes last season. Kind of interesting to see Cunningham didnt throw for 3k yards in his 1st 3 seasons but then in year 4 threw for over 3800 yards (a lot back then).

I just read that the reason Cousins is linked with Atlanta is because his Wife is from there. So Kirk could be getting a bit of Wife agro.

The article mentions Vikings as a potential. They have been playing against him for 3 years — no mystery. But if Poles trades him to the Vikings, he should be fired. To borrow a phrase from butkus, I’d have a heart attack.

Cousins’ dead cap hit is $28.5 million. Even in today’s market, that’s not chump change.
