I know that. Nevertheless, there are going to be plays where is is expected to block somebody, and Flus has made it clear that he expects all TEs and WRs to do it.

We can get C in FA imo, and draft other one in 3 rd round. Go for pricier positions in draft

How would we take a C in the first? Which position would you not take in order to take a C in the first round?

There could be two scenarios - trade Fields or keep Fields. In the trade Fields scenario, you lose your top pick, but you would gain another (probably second round). So we have one pick left in the first. I assume we trade down to get the C. I don't think we end up with the WR, 3T or DE we want plus a first round C under this scenario

In the Keep Fields scenario, you have more flexibility with two picks. I assume you take MHJ with the first. I don't think you get him with anything less than 3rd pick. Even that may not happen. So if you trade down to 2 or three, you get another pick, but not sure it will be in the first. I guess it could be. If it is, than you have a shot at it. But I would go for both a 3T and a DE if I had two more picks in the first. I'd go C in the 2nd. 

I honestly think 95% of what we are reading or listening to now regarding "what the Bears will do" in draft & FA is total throwing stuff at the wall to see what sticks... these people have no clue and are just trying to get readership/clicks/views of their stuff.  I really don't think these "insiders" know anything more than us here on this messageboard.  LOL, the other thing is that one person will state they have insider info, and that single source is quoted a bazillion times by others as if it is gospel truth.  It's like if it is repeated often enough it validates the garbage.
