I'm not saying Williams will be better or not. Williams for sure has a much higher ceiling seeing that one is getting picked #1 overall while the other one didn't make the top 10. We know Fields floor and have a real idea of his ceiling. A bottom tier QB who has to run to make his magic work. 150 yards 1 TD passing. Don't say adding Harrison is going to make him Mahomes now. 

Getting Williams resets the QB clock to 4 years again. Allowing the team to save money and put it in other spaces. With Fields that's not true and when you put top 10 money in average QB's. Well you're not a good team. If we only had the #9 overall pick I would say stick it out with Fields but the ability to reset that clock for someone who has a higher ceiling. Sorry but Harrison can't win Super Bowls. Ask Calvin Johnson that one. 

Put it like this, if the Chiefs didn't draft Mahomes and instead put that pick into helping Alex Smith. They would not be the power house or dynasty they are today. At most they get one Super Bowl. Mahomes brought them to 5 AFCCG and 3 Super Bowls. I'm not saying Williams is Mahomes but you have to go after top 5 QBs. Fields is not a top 10 QB and never will be.
