Bears Expect Good Coordinator Candidates Coming in Droves

In a weird way yes. Green Christmas, going swimming, sweating while you eat turkey or ham....doesn't feel right at the soul/spirit level. Its hard to explain but it just isn't right.

We anticiapte a move back to US in maybe a year and a half so we'll see how I feel when the first winter rolls around.

I absolutely LOVE living in a place that gets to experience all 4 seasons every year.  I get tired/bored with the old season about the time the new one rolls in.  And in a perverse sort of way I like the challenge of beating winter each year.  I like how it forces us (Mrs JABF and I) to slow down a bit with our life and enjoy some things we kind of forget about in the nicer weather seasons.  But about the time I'm fed up with winter, the spring arrives and I soooooo love spring after a hard winter.  Spring has special meaning when you've survived winter.  Then summer rolls around and it seems like heaven - and when the brutal hot Illinois summer days come, I tell myself to not complain because it is better than the sub-zero winter days (LOL, I play these mind-games with myself and it works).  And then Fall comes and the evenings are crisp and the leaves so beautiful.  We like to travel to Door County, Wisconsin to enjoy the autumn up there during the leaf-color part of fall.  It is stunning up there and we love to hike the forrest areas enjoying the beauty and even the smells of autumn.  I don't ever want to be a snow-bird heading to the south when I can live here.  I love it here.

Park View, Iowa @ 06:30 CST we are -9 F (-23 C) and a wind chill of -33 F (-36 C), wind WSW 14 mph. Kids are off school for the third day (two for snow, this one for wind chill warning).


Would still take this over being hot any day and twice on Sunday!
