LOL, this guy think that not only will Odunze be available at 9, but that the Bears trade down 2 picks and still get him at 11. No mention of why the 10 pick would not take him first. This is why mocks are only for entertainment value There is never any telling how people will pretzel reality in their fevered minds to get what they want to happen. I am waiting for someone to mock us getting Williams and then MHJ at 9.
I have read an article that has some people (who they are? We shall never know) believing that the reason why MHJ has not done any thing to help his stock rise is because he secretly (Is this the same peeps from above?) wants to play with C.Will and hopes he will drop a bit to #9.
Yeah.... He will drop to nine when I grow wings out my butt...
Man, it is really uncomfortable to sit. How do you fold these things? Where can I buy a bigger toilet bowl...
My preference for #9 (in order): 1. Odunze 2. Latu or Verse 3. Newton 4. JPJ
All the same positions but in a different order
Ill go with: 1. Alt 2. Odunze 3. Latu or Verse 4. Bowers
If (and this is a big IF), they are ok with Latu's medicals, he's my #1 DE. I would think they could get him mid-1st round given that some teams will be hesitant to take him. He's the best pure 4-3 edge in this draft IMO.
Despite all the "engine of the defense" BS, I have no serious interest in Murphy or Newton. Flus hired a DL guru as his new DC so he ought to be able to work with Dexter and Pickens to get that group up to speed.
Bowers is a great prospect who is essentially a big WR who can also block.
I can't stop gagging on the idea of drafting an iOL in the mid-1st. That's too rich for me and Poles won't do it either. He's been very clear on positional value.
I like yours more than I do mine. I change my choices
"He has a massive wingspan of 85 1/2 inches, which put him in the top 6% in terms of players who were measured or participated at comebines, according to Mockdraftable.com. His arm length of 36 1/8 inches is top 5%. He is 6-foot-5, 3/8, 323."
He sounds like he'd pass the weneedmorelinemen arm length requirement with flying colors. Seriously though, he sounds like a stud who could fall to us. It sounds like he can work out now after his mid-season quad tear. For those who have an Athletic subscription, here is a really good article on him: theathletic.com/5264352/2024/02/19/kiran-amegadjie-yale-nfl-draft-2024/

Well, he is no secret. Any GM worth his salt knows him. So whether or not he will be there is the question.
