To me the most obvious move. I'm also wondering if this means Harbaugh really would rather the Chargers or Raiders job and that was what the delay in announcing all this was. We'll probably never really know that until one of the parties writes a book one day, but I feel like if they knew Flus was returning no matter what, they would have announced that earlier.
I am just reading that the QB coach Andrew Janocko and the WR coach Tyke Tolbert are gone as well.
I had high hopes for Tyke based on what I had heard from people with the Giants about his ability as a coach, but truthfully the receivers never developed here. Mooney regressed...whether because of injury or both. Velus is Velus and Scott didn't really progress as the season went along either.
Once again Bears screwed the pooch. This is like the movie groundhog day. Rumors persist we will draft a QB new wrinkle is keep Fields so new QB can sit and learn. So now we have to find an OC who believes Flus will bring long term security. Gosh that sounds familiar. Do not even remember name of OC from Oregon when similar situation arose. SMH.
Once again we had a chance to align QB and coach and not dictate one to the other. If Flus fails next year, which I expect he will then I am officially on the Poles made his bed with Flus this time and he needs to leave the building with him.
If this is what we can expect from Warren and how he swings for the fences then I think it is safe to assume we are playing in a pony league ballpark. Hope that's not what the Bears plan on building.
If this fails again then I will seriously have to ponder my allegiance to the beloved. There is no savior when this fails.

It makes me wonder if D.J. Moore, during his exit interview with Poles and Eberflus gave input on these guys that was not favorable too.
