It matters. The Bears would be a different team with the Defensive Rookie of the Year on this team instead of Wright. But you guys will be in denial forever.
I don't know about your skillset. But visionary and clairvoyancy is not among them for me. I don't have the ability to go back into time, change around a few variables to completely upend the future like you do.
I feel with your skills you should use them for good instead of what you are doing. Perhaps go back in time and draft us Tom Brady oh and grab Billicheck while you’re at it. Also can you become the owner of the Bears and give us all season tix? I mean forget all that why not end war and famine! You will become one of what songs and stories are written about.
Poles didn’t need a crystal ball. This was not a Tom Brady situation. Carter was top-10 in everybody’s projection last year. All you have to do is look at the damn college tape. Las Vegas odds have had him projected as Defensive Rookie of the Year all season, Ironic that “locker room culture” was offered as the reason for not drafting him. Even during the 14-game losing streak, Flus has kept the atmosphere positive, players support him, and with Sweat arrival, defense is playing well.
Dooood you still crying over him? Are you somehow tied with him? Let him go.
The Eagles are starting to collapse from within so we shall see what happens with him. Maybe he will grow into the big sexy stud you see in him or perhaps he will fall. It doesn't really matter because he is there and not on the Bears.

So they would be better than #1 in the league against the run and since week 5 when Flus took over play calling sixth in total yards, seventh in points per game allowed and fifth in expected points added, while leading the league in interceptions since then as well?
Man...you'd think the Eagles defense would be doing much better than it has since Carter has that kind of impact!
Let me ask you the question: if you go outside the walls of this forum and ask knowledgeable football people who have no axe to grind “Wright or Carter?” What are they going to tell you?

Carter has played very well. He’s not the Eagles problem. He would fit in beautifully with the Bears.

Carter has players on the Eagles D-line that can put him in his place and keep him humble. We did not until Sweat came here.

That is not true. There was no locker room turmoil in the Bears locker room during the losing streak. Eberflus has difficulties managing the games on Sunday, but he has been very good managing the players.
Gladly. In a way, I hope the Bears win with a 2-minute drive in the 4Q. That would really help Fields keep his job. But even better if Bears control the game and win by 10 points.

Is the the only context I'm to provide? That doesn't paint a very clear picture and you know that.
