Browns beat Bears - who gets the deflated ball?

You're not reading what I'm saying. Too often Fields is not making the throws or right decisions when he has the opportunity. I don't expect him to make something out of nothing. What I expect is a QB who can make the most out of the chances given to him. I'm not blaming him for the rest of the offense's performance. I literally do not care what the other players are doing when evaluating his performance. But when the opportunity is there for him to make the right call or the right play he is not doing a good job at consistently making those plays. When he is in a situation where his play can make a difference he more often than not doesn't make the right move. Yes he has a few spectacular plays a game, but that's not going to get the job done on a consistent basis. It shouldn't be that everyone around him has to have a great game for him to perform well.

Watch other better QBs and you can see them making the right moves and the right decisions even when the rest of their team isn't doing well. They might not win the game or even have very good statistics but you can still tell they are a good QB making the most of what was available to them. For instance no one doubts that Herbert is a good QB even if he is on a garbage team. I don't see that enough with Fields, and after 3 years I don't see enough of improvement to make me think it's going to get any better.
