Thats PRECISELY what I want you to do. If YOU are going to make a claim, back it up with evidence. EXPLAIN to me HOW SPECIFICALLY he covers better. Is he quicker in his backpedal, does he exhibit more eye discipline and here is x, y, and z examples of it? Is he quicker out of his breaks and here is a, b, c, d, e, and F examples of it vs. Stevenson? Don't regurgitate to me what you've been told or what PFF tells you...and lets be honest...thats what this is, because you DIDN'T EVEN KNOW HE HASN'T PLAYED SINCE WEEK 7!!!!
It would be nice to see how Brents has played the last couple weeks....oh yeah...we can't compare them because HE HASN'T PLAYED!
i am not regurgitating anything. I’ve seen both players with my own eyes. Again, I only use PFF to document that others who have seen both players and actually grade both of them on every snap of every game grade Brents significantly higher than Stevenson. I know that means nothing to you. The Colts looked at both of them and drafted Brents. That also means nothing to you, although I’d bet somebody on their staff did the exact exercise you want me to do.
I noticed you had nothing to say about the Stevenson performance today. Can you honestly say you feel comfortable with him as starting CB next year, as we are trying to win the North?
I'd actually respect some actual analysis coming from YOU for once. You are regurgitating...as I said, you didn't even know Brents hadn't played IN WEEKS! Thank you for letting me know once again that the Colts watched Brents film and he was taken before Stevenson, even though you're killing Poles for not taking Brents. The Colts also took Blake Freeland before the Browns took Dawaand Jones...so clearly their scouting staff has it all figured out! LOL!!!
I didn't comment on anyones performance today aside from Fields briefly after the game. I wasn't in the chat during the game. Only time I noticed Stevenson was when he got beat in the end zone. Generally thats gonna happen with rookies. And yes, I am comfortable with him starting at corner next year because he won't be a rookie. He'll have a year of experience under his belt and I EXPECT growth. I never expected him to be a ready made pro bowler year 1...and if you did thats a you issue.
