Kevin Warren didn't hire them and may want his people in and have more a role in the football side. I can see that happening. Poles has not improve the team after two years. No position is set.
Seem to be having issues linking the tweet. Its by Ben Devine.
I do believe our only hope is that Warren is a sharp guy who can do whatever it takes to bring the Chicago Bears back to relevancy in the NFL. If that means he wants a clean slate to work with, then I am 100% for that. If he wants to keep Poles here, then I support that too. He is the one who needs to figure out a way to fix a horribly broken franchise.

The only reason I'm on the fire Poles wagon is he hasn't done anything to improve the team. There is not one positional unit on this team that doesn't need one player upgraded on it. In fact we seem to be more of a fan of getting rid of players. I'm ok with that as long as you do a great mixture of vets in FA and rookies.
Also the fact if Poles wants to keep Flus here another year. Then Poles needs to go. The coaching staff is a huge problem with this team. We should have a better record than what we have.

Personally, I'll be a little sad if they get rid of Poles. I feel like he has made some tough decisions that have put us in a good position to be set up well for the long term. And for that I would like to see him stick around.
Yes, I don't love his coaching hires. And there have been some bad signings like Claypool and Jones (Velus not Braxton clearly). But overall, I think he could be a very good GM.
Another thing I'm wondering is that if they move on from Flus, do you think that will also mean that we will be drafting a new QB. I'd personally rather keep Flus if it means we get to have another year of seeing what we have in Fields. I'm happy for that to be with a new offensive coordinator if people think Getsy is the issue.

Normal NFL team: New Coach generally means new QB when the old QB isn't established Bears: Cuff new coach to old QB, wasting a season
I have no feelings on Poles. I give him credit for the teardown and the Moore trade. They may have been obvious but he still had to pull the trigger.
Whats on him (regardless of if we think Flus was forced on him or not) is that the team shows no improvement from last year to this one. I'm talking about more than W/L. Its a general sense of....ineptitude...on OFF and DEF. Its been the same since Fox was brought in to "improve the culture." Outside of the one Nagy year he went 12-4 its been a clown show every season.
Some here put that on the talent level claiming outside of Moore there is no talent worth keeping on OFF and very little on DEF. I see it as 75% a coaching issue and 25% talent. Some NFL team pulls an "any given Sunday" once a week on average. But its never the Bears. In fact, the Bears lose games they have no shot of losing based on historical game trends. Thats coaching.

Bears will probably win 2 or 3 more games. That would make the final record against a WEAK schedule 5-12 or 6-11. I may follow Ric into the Wilderness if Warren does nothing. Poles/Eberflus are on track to become the worst GM/HC duo in Bears history.

Thats simply not true. Nor is it true Poles hasn't done anything to improve the team. Hyperbole doesn't equal facts, no matter how much you want something to be true.

OL — needs center DL — needs DE, DL LB — marginally adequate, I guess DB — need to replace Jackson, Stevenson IMO RB — nothing needed QB — TBD WR — needs Harrison, jr.
