I figure if you want to play with the big-boys then you have to make some big-boy investments.  It's not a business for the timid.  The cap is rising so if Poles nails down Sweat and JJ both, I'll bet the cap will make us look back in a few years and realize it wasn't all that much money - because player costs are always going up.  I remember when we were all appalled at the Cousins QB contract he signed his big contract with the Vikings.  He's not even in the top-10 APY now... it's chump change due to the fact salaries quickly escalated.  It will be the same for edge and CBs, and the Sweat/JJ contracts will seem very reasonable down the road.
