Tyler Scott has flashed some promise. Noah Sewell was pushing Sanborn for the starting SAM spot before getting injured in training camp and is a key special teamer. Terrell Smith had an OUTSTANDING camp and came in and BALLED OUT as a starter last game...

But sure...Poles late round picks have "been pretty much trash".

No, I would not join any parade. I haven’t dug into the details of Ridley contract, but I expect he will have to perform very well for the contingent second round to materialize, in which case it would be worth it.

Okay, “trash” is a bit harsh. I’ll give you that one.

LOL...get yourself a subscription to Reception Perception. I got news for you...he's good at ALL the routes! By the way...what about this staff gives you the impression they let guys only do what they're good at? It took them half a season last year to figure out Fields was really good at running with the ball. Give it up...Mooney is a GREAT route runner and you don't want to admit it.

Not much to dig into. Its been widely reported since he was traded in Oct of last year. If he signs an extension of any kind for any amount in Jacksonville it becomes a 2nd in 2024. Performance really doesn't have much to do with it.

He was a couple of missed passes from having a huge night on Thursday. Its gonna happen.

Performance has everything to do with whether you give the extension. You’re not going to sacrifice a second round pick, unless he plays at a level to justify it.

IDK why everyone is down on Mooney. He's off to a slow start which is to be expected given he's coming off injury and the entire offense was horrid the first 3 weeks. Fields and him are just slightly off on their connection which should improve going forward.

This is a guy who put up 1000 yards in a terrible pass offense. He's a GOOD WR as a #2 or preferably #3 after we draft MHJ.

Take a look at KC's WRs tonight -- Mooney is better than all of them.
(Note: that's WIDE RECEIVERS, not Travis Kelce)

What I meant was that his performance doesn't dictate the value of the pick...the pick exchange isn't based on that, like the Jets pick for Rodgers was(a 2nd that becomes a 1st based on games played).
