Nothing pleases meatballs other than another heaping helping of agony.  They live for it.  The classic back-of-the-hand on the forehead, as it's tilted back, swooning to the latest information that doesn't result in the Bears having their own version of Tom Brady running a perfect offense schemed by an offensive genius locked into an unbreakable contract that guarantees service as OC for at least 5 years, a WR corps comprised of 3 first round picks and 3 absolute steals, running backs that literally fly into the end zone on magic wings and an offensive line of Megatron robots. Special Teams are led by a long-snapper who does everything upside-down, a punter with a laser guidance system implanted in his forehead, and a kicker who can score from 80 yards out. Then there's the defense with a secondary where everyone is over 6'3" and can run a 4.35 40 in pads, linebackers all named Urlacher and a defensive line that scares the other team into soiling their pants (including their defense) just by laughing. They're led by a DC who does laps in a pool without dropping his cigar (and it remains lit), has first sergeant stripes branded onto his chest and calls everyone a pansy. The team is so far under the salary cap, they can afford to sign every single free agent every single year (all of whom are desperate to come to Chicago) and give lifetime contracts to their own draft picks, which should always be high and only in the first 3 rounds.  But what meatballs love the most is lamenting a lack of change. You can show them action after action during an off-season, but none of that is ever good enough because they were able to do more on Madden. Nor is it ever recognized as the best that could be done, given the circumstances, because they're all gifted general managers that know far more than anyone actually getting paid to do that work and they know better.  Gotta love meatballs !!
