It looks like Poles will have the assistance of Ian Cunningham for another season. While I wish him the best and that means he will eventually become a GM in this league, it means another highly productive offseason!!
Yeah, I feel bad for Cunningham but that is fantastic news for the Bears as they journey through one of the more important off seasons in recent history. They will benefit from having him here another year.
If you look at the really well run franchises in all professional sports, they all suffer from loss of executive/coaching personnel to other teams.
If Warren and Poles really are putting together a competitive FO and coaching organization, we will have to get used to it.

LOL, I think he will end up ranking with the other failed coaching hires. I was thinking Josh McDaniels was still there but noticed he's gone now. Even the Bears beat up on the Raiders this year (with Tyson Bagent at QB no less). Put up 30 against 'em.

I'm terrified that they will trade for Jalen Carter and have a true juggernaut... teams will have the vaunted Getsy offense scoring into the hundreds and Carter on defense will have opposing teams scoring negative hundreds. Oh the humanity of it all...
