+1 One other thing. DJ Moore has had an endless carousel of QBs in his NFL career. Having Fields as his QB could be pretty sweet. Here's who he's had in the past:
147 from Sam Darnold 128 from Cam Newton 115 from Kyle Allen 102 from Teddy Bridgewater 65 from PJ Walker 46 from Baker Mayfield 8 from Taylor Heinicke 2 from Will Grier 2 from Garrett Gilbert 1 from Jacob Eason

Moore doesn’t make the top 25 list. I am happy to have him over Claypool, but I still want a WR1 and a slot receiver better than Mooney. You can walk on my lawn I don’t care.
Dude is a clear upgrade from anything we've had in the team since Marshal. And they still got 2 firsts and 2 2nds out of it.
They need someone ahead of at least Chase besides DJ though, Chase showed on the field this year why Pitt moved on.
I already said I am happy to have Moore over Claypool. I just don’t consider him WR1 tier along with guys like Jefferson, Adams, Kupp, Diggs, Brown, Chase, etc. that Fields could use to beat them all in a Super Bowl in a couple years. I want a true WR1 and an elite slot receiver like JSN.
Maybe it can all still come out of these Panthers draft picks, but we are not there yet IMO.
Was kind of interested in WR/JSN in first. Adding Moore makes that seem unreasonable depending on how FA shakes out. With two firsts next year maybe we roll with current WR corps and scoop up Marvin Harrison Jr. Next year.
What a haul. Wild to go from constantly trading up and/or giving up assets for defense to stock piling picks and adding firepower to O side. Can't wait for FA next week.

You realize NONE of those guys are even remotely available, right?
Again, yelling at kids for playing on your lawn. Please Stop.
We got what you asked for--a #1 WR AND a "Trey Lance deal". Something you said many times wouldn't happen.
Don't try to move the goalposts now. Try being happy and satisfied--trust me, it's way better.

I'm thinking the pairing of DJ Moore with Fields could be a match made in heaven. Moore could hit a whole new level with a guy like Fields. I doubt that Poles is finished with the WR unit. This is just another piece, but a significant one all the same. Now I am eager to see a OL unit built. We need 3 quality starters brought in... assuming Jenkins can get healthy and stay healthy. If not then we need quality 4 starters. That won't be a cake walk.

I mean Moore is a #1 WR. Sure he isn't at the elite level as those you listed but where else are we going to get a #1 WR without giving up a ton?
No we ain't there yet. We have 1 #1 WR and 2 #3 WRs. Sadly we're keeping Claypool since we spent the #33 overall pick on him.
Now we can focus on getting some Oline around Fields and this offense will look very different compared to last year.
He's already in position to draft JSN...and I won't address your opinion on Mooney cause we've covered that.
I would love that, but I honestly didn’t consider he would do it at #9. He’ll draft a lineman at #9, and we are too far back in the second round to get JSN or probably any of my other slot receivers.
You never understand my position regarding Mooney. My only statement was that I want a BETTER route runner in the slot. BETTER, BETTER, BETTER….that’s the word.
I understand it. I think its irrational. Thats the word.
really really, neither make a team worry about them, neither are difference makers. No team goes into a game vs Chicago and goes oooo how do we stop Mooney and Chase. Team got the guy that teams will be scared of, but they need another still that cna take heat of DJ; Chase and Mooney are not those guys. Chase is a depth piece, which is why Pitt drafted his replacement, then traded him to the most wr lacking team in the NFL.
Don't account for Mooney and let me know how that works out for you.
