I'm not a fan of firing coaches early and often, but it's needed. We can't Keep Fox like we couldn't Keep Trestman.
McDaniels is a OC that knows how to Coach an offense. It's been a Long time ago since he was with the Broncos. Some guys mature and some learn a bit more.
I agree. Coaches often don't do so well on their first HC gig. But they can learn from their mistakes and do better at a later opportunity. I don't know if McDaniels is one of these. But just because he failed at Denver, doesn't necessarily mean he will never be a solid HC.
Correct . Bellicheat , who some have called the greatest HC in NFL history , failed / fired by the Browns . Of course maybe it was the Curse of the Browns , or b4 he learned how to cheat properly - but not all 1st time 'failures' continue to be failures . Now " commanding the room " , THAT's where the real difference is made ( or lost ) .

Here is where my head is at with the coaching thing. The most recent was Airens. It seems that when an assistant gets a temporary HC job, much of the initial HC learning curve happens at that time.
They get to learn and grow without as much pressure and then go back to their coordinator positions and continue to learn, but now with a different perspective. And then when they get a permanent gig, it seems like they are better prepared. It would be like a player getting to play in the NFL for a few months and then going back to his college team for a year or two before coming to the NFL. He has a different perspective and is more prepared.
I forget who it was prior to Airens that also had some success going that way. I would look at someone in that situation. You would get a guy with a head start, but yet still obtainable. The best of both worlds.

I don't want to can Pace, I think Fox is the reason we are still that bad. His decisions lost us games so far. Unacceptable. Pretty sure the Players wouldn't mind it, if he is gone.

Fox is very much like Lovie only at this point in his career no longer a great HC. He's very set in his ways and he expects to have things done his way and for his GM to allow him to do at. Elway was the first GM who stood up to him recently and said no, it's gonna be my way because I'm your boss not the other way around.
Pace needs to do the same or they part ways as Elway did with him. I'm convinced John Fox is no longer the right guy to get this team back on track and I've given numerous reason why so I won't repeat them.
