How all 31 First-round picks have played this season

I didn't get any stats. I just wanted to make fun of PFF's hurries and pressures by adding more stuff. I picked a guy I like quite a bit to do it.

That is an arbitrary group. Why Top 10? Why not Top 5? Why not Top 20? There's nothing that indicates the first 10 draft picks are supposed to be in some rarified category apart from every other pick. It's just how the picks fell based on the evaluation of the teams, their individual needs, and the available players. Further there are big differences in drafts from year to year. Some drafts are stocked and some aren't. Some drafts lots of guys make an impact right away, others only a few, others take some time to.

Guys simply don't develop at the same speed. Cody Whitehair has probably been playing center better any pick ahead of him. Does that mean all those prior picks are fails? Of course not.

Lastly, I'll also point out that Bosa has played 3 games and Floyd 5 games. That kind of sample size is basically microscopic. You can't evaluate a player's ability in a just a few games. There have been many players that looked like world beaters in few games only to flame out later. There have also been players who underwhelmed in several games but came on strong later. You need to wait at least season or so to get a good idea where a player's skills are heading.

You do realize Urlacher was rookie of the year right? 

You don't draft a raw WR who has no idea how to run a simple route in at #7...
 
Top 10 picks shouldn't be projects. They should be day 1 players. We all talk about how this team is void of talent yet we sign players who once again bring us nothing. 

Learned his lesson?  On what?  He's had two drafts and one of his picks was questionable with Floyd.  No one that actually knows something about football thought White was a questionable pick.  The kid got injured and no one can predict that.  White was always going to be a day 1 starter and the second WR.
