Floyd left as junior so he is effectively playing his senior season in the NFL. Think of it as we are getting him one year early. I'm not going to begin to make any judgement on him until of the end of this season and we won't likely get a good idea of his real potential until sometime next season.

Floyd is getting better slowly. I think he will improve by the end of the season and much better next.

Bosa was drafted before Floyd. That option didn't exist.

Players rarely develop at the same rate. Bosa might just have a jump on things. In college he might have had better coaches, better physical trainers, or even used more PEDs. There are a lot of different variables that can influence how fast a player develops.

I still don't understand your point though. Bosa was drafted before Floyd because he was seen as a better player. So it's not surprising he is outplaying Floyd. He would likely have been the no. 1 pick had the Rams (or whoever was in that position) not needed a QB.
