Whitehair back to back top 10 NFL players list week after week. Dude is killing it this year and has a real shot at the Pro Bowl if he keeps this up.
Howard only rookie RB who has had 2 back to back 100+ yards in his first 2 career games this year.
The stud second year rookies is non existed. Goldman was hurt sadly and would most likely be the only one on that list.
I don't see Grasu being this great backup. He wasn't even average last year. What makes you think things would be different? Langford as well hasn't shown any promise at all when he started playing this year. In fact it looked like he regressed. It was so bad Pace attempted to overpay for CJ Anderson. That is saying something.
White was also a overhyped part of the draft. Having one good year and was known for his limited route tree he wasn't really an ideal top 10 pick. There is a reason why the Raiders past up on him and got a real WR instead.
It's been a year and 5 weeks into the two draft classes. It's way to early to give an overall assessment on them. Anyone that knows anything about the NFL knows that you need to wait about 3 years to get a good feel on how good a draft class is. So far I think both classes are off to a good start. Obviously it could be better but it could be so much worse.
No I'm not surprise at all with that RB pick. I just didn't want us to throw away a first round pick on a RB when you can find one just as good in later rounds.
Elliot's first two games:
Vs Giants 20 Att with 50 YDs
vs Redskins 21 Att with 83 YDs
This is with one of the best O-line in the NFL and he also is a fumbling machine.
Howards first two games: ( As a full time starter )
Vs Lions 23 Att for 111 yards
Vs Colts 16 Att for 118 yards
This is with a much weaker O-line as well. Hasn't fumble yet.
How is last years class out with a good start?
Kevin White - Has shown nothing
Hroniss Grasu - Has shown nothing
Langford - Regressed
Amos - Same play as before with no play making ability
Goldman - Hurt
You know 4 of our 6 players drafted last year are hurt right? All of which 1 is guaranteed a spot on the starting roster. That's not good
