Was our 2015 offseason a wasted year for rebuild?

Who have been the real play makers in the secondary on the Bear's defense in the past?

The point of 2 players gone statement was that's 2 players gone from our starting position. Not as in gone from the team. With how lackluster this team is we need as much starters as possible. We had a terrible FA pickup last year, 1 above average draft pick, 1 average draft pick and that's about it. Langford may or may not be a backup after his very lackluster performance this year. Grasu is a big question mark. He was replaced by Slauson last year because of how bad his play was and is out yet again this year but for injury reasons. Where is this great value? He never shown average value.

Who are the stud rookies this year or even the second year studs? I can't imagine the list is all that long. Not every team is going to have absolute studs in their first two years.

Going by your logic then Langford or Howard were guaranteed to be wasted a pick because only one can start. If they can't start then apparently they are a bad draft pick.

Any draft pick that is good enough to make the 83 man roster in their first two years is considered pretty good unless your team is completely void of talent.

I don't think you could be any more wrong about White.  White was considered a good pick but just about every single NFL analyst and expert.  If the Bears didn't take him another team was.  He was the player to take regardless if he works out or not.  Sometimes they don't pan out and injuries can happen.  No one can predict injuries.

Sorry what's Vic Beasly done(the other obvious choice when the Bears drafted), squadoosh, 1 game out of 4 w/sacks, last year 4 sacks all year. Danny Shelton? Less then Beasly. Who were the great players that should have been picked at 7 last year? White's problem has at least been availability, if he gets healthy he'll easily have a shot to outplay those drafted after him. 

Last years draft had what most thought were 5 difference makers, none dropped to the Bears. WR is one of the toughest positions to adjust to and learn in the NFL, so you are drafting them on talent, and many felt he was more talented then Cooper but needed a year to adjust. This year was very similar, the top end of the draft was light on what were considered to be potential difference makers. Bears found their target and got him. He's not undersized btw, he's can add weight to HIS torso, he's taller then most OLB's and in weight also, but he can add more mass b/c of his height. You might be the first person to call someone that is 6'4+ 240+ lb's undersized.
 


Again you cannot judge a draftpick until year 3, until then he's n/a on his draft picks.
