so Hoyer averages 1.4 turnovers a game with 36 TDs averaging 1.3 TDs a game (and is a 7 year vet who has lost starting jobs in Cleveland, Houston..)...So we have 1.29 TOs per game with 1.5 TDs (Cutler, your numbers from above) against 1.4 TO a game with 1.3 TDs a game (Hoyer). The argument doesn't add up.
As far as learning the game, why should the guy still learning the game get starts ahead of the guy who is ready to go (by all accounts Meredith isn't struggling in this area)? Is it because White has more potential? I'd start White for the same reason actually. But then I'd also start Cutler because he has 'better potential' than Hoyer. If we are starting production than White goes to the end of the line.
I get the context you are referring to. White has more potential/ability than Meredith at this point (while when he's not in a cast that is). But I'd also argue that based on career production, Cutler has more potential/ability than Hoyer. Basicially, overall as a board/forum, we are saying White keeps his job because of potential/ability while Cutler loses his because of production. Thats fine, as long as we know what/how we are arguing.
HuH???...i'm going to assume this quote was meant for someone else LoL

yeah, sorry, I used your numbers and wanted to give you credit. Wasn't directed at you at all.
I am now worried about White being a total bust. Not a whole lot of players come back from two missed seasons as a rookie.
You're now worried?
You weren't worried when the dude didn't know his route tree? You weren't worried when he dropped so many passes that were easy catch balls?
Many here were telling how I was wrong with him being a bust but yet again he's injured.
3.5 games out of 32 games he played...
Pretty sad. Yes I'm also expecting the worst as well meaning out for the season.
I was honestly not all that worried. The guy missed an entire season. He was also known to be a raw talent that most people knew would take a little bit to refine. I liked what I saw from him after 4 games. He saw a lot of targets and improved every week. It's a shame he's hurt again because, as said before, this will really hurt his progression and lead to being total bust. Injuries suck.

I'm still not worried. If it happens a 3rd time, I call him a bust. Is he made of glass? he showed why he was drafted that high, he Needs playing time and development. This just took him back another season
How the hell can a high ankle sprain result in a tibia fracture?
They both come under the "owie" category that Fox has. I think the Bears consider he's been placed on O.R. instead of I.R. (Owie Reserve). O.R. covers everything from a stubbed toe to accidental dismemberment and flaming death. And everything in between.
