so Hoyer averages 1.4 turnovers a game with 36 TDs averaging 1.3 TDs a game (and is a 7 year vet who has lost starting jobs in Cleveland, Houston..)...So we have 1.29 TOs per game with 1.5 TDs (Cutler, your numbers from above) against 1.4 TO a game with 1.3 TDs a game (Hoyer). The argument doesn't add up.
As far as learning the game, why should the guy still learning the game get starts ahead of the guy who is ready to go (by all accounts Meredith isn't struggling in this area)? Is it because White has more potential? I'd start White for the same reason actually. But then I'd also start Cutler because he has 'better potential' than Hoyer. If we are starting production than White goes to the end of the line.
I get the context you are referring to. White has more potential/ability than Meredith at this point (while when he's not in a cast that is). But I'd also argue that based on career production, Cutler has more potential/ability than Hoyer. Basicially, overall as a board/forum, we are saying White keeps his job because of potential/ability while Cutler loses his because of production. Thats fine, as long as we know what/how we are arguing.
It is what it is now so next man up. But on a serious note I gotta think that a serious injury like that to the same leg is not going to be good for his future. Can he lose speed and agility now? I mean that leg must now be a huge risk even if he could come back maybe in mid/late December.
Thanks!! When I was in Chicago I did the Wrigley tour, last 1 of the year too. I made sure I had some JD with me to drink on the field and also decided to lay on the field. Lol some people were a little bent out of shape but I don't care..I am a bit of an idiot lol
